A little disjointed on opening but really blossomed through dinner. Rose petals, bright cherry, hints of leather. Give it a couple hours and it shines. Overdelivers!

Surprisingly good for its age but will decline quickly. Drink now.

An early effort from Morgan Twain-Peterson of Bedrock fame. Very early effort, actually. Definitely on the downslide, but still plenty to enjoy here. Sour cherry, orange pith and earth. A fun curiosity. I have one more and won't hang onto it much longer.

California Pinot ages. And it ages well! This walks the fine line, showing aged and fresh characteristics. A joy to taste.

Shares a kinship with the bottle behind. There's been much bottle variation in these - this one was exceptional and fully mature.

Nice, in a quiet sort of way. Drinks younger than its years.

Fantastic Pinot Noir that Morgan Petersonof @BedrockWineCo made when he was 19! Dried flowers, a bit of funk, very elegant, and smooth w/mature flavors lingering finish

For something this old and this early on MTP career - a beautiful Pinot.

Second of two bottles. While the last bottle showed better, this one still is delicious. Demonstrates the potential of aged CA Pinots made with a deft hand. Transparent, light color. Still a bit of reduction that blows off in 10 minutes, leaving a sweet nose of plums, underripe raspberries and cherries, and a hint of happy, earthy funk. Palate is similar with good amount of acidity, leading to a moderate length, drying finish. Didn't get as strong of a black tea influence that I really loved about the last bottle.
