Saline & earth. Complex. Need to find more.

On the nose this was a Rossese to me. Such a red wine nose. Interesting northern white.

Yum, you single vineyard 2011 Pigato from a favorite producer.

A coastal white right off the start but still unique and rich. Maybe the most memorable Pigato I've had.

В аромате керосин, каучук, пастила. Во вкусе неспелая айва, желтый грейпфрут, цедра лимона, соль, минеральная вода. Среднее тело с полным, но строгим вкусовым объемом; тонкая, естественная цитрусовая кислотность. Морской рислинг. Сейчас красиво развито, но ещё с потенциалом. Небанально и стройно. Проседает на второй день.

Great salinity. Little petrol and flower reminiscent of Riesling.

At SPQR in San Francisco for lunch. At first by itself it was a tight dry mineral white with faint character. Served with the Meyer lemon pasta with abalone, garlic chips, and parmigiano cheese, it blossomed. The tart acid character rounded off and the finish became apparent. This wine demands rich food with acidic contents.
