A hard, black knotted knee of bramble smolders. Dried blackberries crammed into its expressive creases. Black currants, dusty truffles, dried and flaking violets, touches of blueberry and raspberry. Horsehair and lilacs.
Courteously smooth with undulating tannins. Sensual. Black olive thoroughbred snorts through the smoldering, charcoal rears, graphite crackles, and tobacco and chocolate hybridize. Bridled with leather, and kid leather textures, rosemary wood, shrubbings and toothy-tart cranberry; Finish coaxing even the imaginative sense.

Decanted an hour or so, almost black with plummy fruits good balance and nice length and aftertaste
I’m giving this 2nd Lafon Rochet wine 91 pts and gradually this wine is getting attention as important improvements are carried out at this estate

2018にも関わらずヴィンテージワインのようなスエた感じもありボルドーらしさがわかりやすいワイン。
