St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend

Iron, cedar, cherry, spice, baby bit of brett on nose. Palate is similar in a lean style. Absolutely delicious.

Steely with red berries on the nose. Soft tannins, animal notes, leather and dark red berry fruits on the palate. An amazing wine to drink now.

Dry slight leather

A bit young, but has promise. Needs to mature and open more..hints of cedar and chocolate..yet still pleasant for sure

Pretty decent when it opens up. Soft tannins. A little bit of dried raisins like cognac in the initial mouth.

Definitely need a decanter, even for a 2008. Becomes better after a while. Quite strong, pairs great with red meat.

Second rating, I actually give it a better score than previously. This time we decanted the Saint Emillion for about 45 min and the quality increased a lot.

Average Saint Emillion, short at the end.

A modern style, a bit flashy on the palate, medium tannins and fleshy red and dark fruit. The finish is a bit short! Still drinks nice enough for a TJ selection tho!

Branchy quality. Pretty good with goat cheese.
