Lacrima di Morro d'Alba

This grape variety is one of Mrs S's favorites!

Lacrima di Morro d'Alba DOC 2011, 13%. Typical deep violet color, along with the rich aromas if flowers make this wine quite unique, and usually a favorite with women. This bottle was really nice, even if it could have been served a little colder.

Enjoyed, solid tannin structure but not overpowering. Would drink again, except for the price.

Floral nose with hint of rose and blueberry. Lovely and silky on the palate with soft fruit and some earthiness.
