Very good drink, thankfully in a half bottle. Acidity would suggest a full bottle would need 3-5 more years. Serious stuff though 94+

Dense, juicy, brambly berry — blackberry and cassis. Tannins are dark, bitter chocolate. Old polished and varnished wood. Good acidity balances. Could use more age. Love it! 93.

Been on a old world kick recently. Obviously young, but a sub-$50 winner. Paired well with grilled steak.

Great acidity and structure for its age. Before it could rest the tannins are fine and the acidity is very ripe. Most of what you get is mushroom, forest floor, and funk. After about 60 minutes the acid and tannins recede and black fruit, plum, and leather become more dominant. A very bright and delicious wine for its age.
