Fruit is gone, good structure and a good play off the black bean soup. I missed the window a bit.

Blackberry/blueberry compote, dried strawberry, raspberry tea, cacao, wood chips, pencil shavings, clay. Fresh acid, wide smooth velvet tannins, concentrated juicy texture, medium bodied, smoky-cedar-earthy finish. Lean, fruity yet structure driven, well integrated oak, excels as a food wine. Benefitted from its higher elevation in a difficult vintage. Not meant for aging, already approaching its peak.

1998 opened up really well and had shed fruit rather friend out but the right texture and dry tannins !!! An easy drinking red , enjoyed

Smooth, very subtle aroma. All in all nice drink, not remarkable

Assez mou en attaque, nez faible, le carrafage n'y change rien. Arômes de fruits rouges compotés, tabac, chaussure en cuir neuve.
Pas très intéressant, tout ça.

Medium body, concentrated, ripe blackberry up front, with cherry and tobacco on the back end.

The 2003 vintage. Somewhat earthy with vanilla and leather. Medium to full bodied! Very nice!
