Nice tight floral, fruit (maybe blueberry) notes that have woody aspects in the nose- hints of vanilla. Thick garnet color, slight brown around edge (2014). Grassy, woody immediate flavor. Not unpleasant. I can taste this needs some aeration.

Very fruit forward on the nose with black plum, black cherry and berries with hints of clove and eucalyptus. Full bodied with well integrated tannins and a medium plus finish. Gotta love wines from Coonawarra.

Drinks like wines at almost twice its price. Medium body, grippy tannins, blackberry and dusty cocoa. Powerful, but lean. Long finish.

Opened far too soon. Delicious all the same. Come back in 5 years.
