woodsy + heavy mineral on nose. brambly dark fruit- the adj ‘outdoorsy’ comes to mind. acidic and fairly light-bodied- but has some lingering tannins. light iron-y taste. interesting but easy to drink. (NB: grape is another name for Blaufrankish)

Dec 29th, 2017The wine was very good but i was even expecting a bit more. Seemed a bit closed - maybe not the ideal point to open 2011, will try again in 2 or 3 years.
