Comparatively to the other wines of Christian Moueiux this seemed too jammy and the oak almost seemed too chocolatey and from oak add-ons. But months later (Coravin) tasted on its own it was quite nice and a definite crowd pleaser.

A solid, but not spectacular well balanced wine and almost fully ready to go. Definitely a Napa cab done in an earthier, Bordeaux style. This "3rd wine of dominus" is apparently only available in Ontario and Japan and currently kicking off a good amount of sediment.

Excellent. I guess there's no point in looking for sweets in it. There is licorice, but my palate is not shocked by it. 😂 There is dark fruit, but only in the nose. There is leather, some sweet cigar smoke (nose) and - hmmm... - bay leaf, or a general spicy note.
