Pinot Noir. Such an elegant lady when it's done right. This might not be the best Pinot we've ever had, but it's a clean, slim and tight and it lightened up our day for sure.

Pale ruby color. Aromas of cherries, raspberries, and vanilla. Additional flavors of cola, baking spice, and dried cherries. Medium tannins and medium finish.

Tjång!-vin. Mycket maffig körsbär. Lite väl too much... om man dricker den för sig självt. Tillsammans med hälleflundra i rödvinssås och jordärtskockspuré blev den dämpad och en oväntat fin kompanjon (+0,6 i betyg). Fiskekrogen

Colour: Light red
Smell: Brie cheese and honey. Cherries and notes of strawberry.
Taste: Light, not so pungent fruits. No notes of pepper or spices by itself, but when combined with the pork a more spicy flavour emerges.
Boring acidity, to mellow.
A not so interesting Pinot from Cali.

Found this for 6.99 in Troy Alabama at a gas station on my way to the beaches of 30A. My rating does reflect that price, but how wonderful to find a true Pinot Noir inside a roadside gas station. Forest floor with soft and sour fruit and a pop of freshness throughout.
