Arione Barolo Nebbiolo

Nice color, nose, and mouth feel. We all got leather notes. Cherries and vanilla were also prominent for me. Really good tartness. Overall, a lovely and unassuming Barolo.

Lovely tasting with Petrea tonight! Young but still showed nicely.

Tannins n Straw Barry's.

Dried rose. Jerkey. Violets. Fruit leather

Approachable. A few years on its back. Medium body, dried flowers, black cherry.

1990 vintage. Aromas of tar and dark plums. Hint of tobacco. Sweetness of an old Barolo. Lovely vineyard. Now owned by Contermo. Tasted 2015 barrel sample from him. Will be exceptional.

Lunch; must be time for wine.

Nebbiolo varietal nicely integrated with fruit. Opened up nicely two hrs in. Still a bright future but alas only bottle! Maria dinner.

Really solid Barolo. Drinks well with little decanting.
