Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Decent quality. Good value. A bit young to be consumed now, will definitely evolve over the next 5-10 years

Solid, but a bit young. Tannins still a bit rough but after 30 mins of air was great.

Dried herbs, fennel, orange rind, dried plum/prune and a hint of tar. Working well with short rib pasta, but a little underwhelming.

Very youthful. Shut down at first and took a couple hours of air to show what it's got. Definite oak influence, but nice delicate fruit. I have one more of these and will give it at least a few years.

Lot of acidity in nose, $31.00, light nose, high acidity, have 3 cases here, nose, wood , leather, Anis, very well balanced in mouth, very delicate, elegant, sell for $48.00

Very smooth. It has a bit of a slutty oak treatment. Sweet fruit, dark cherry and light spice. Not super complex, but very enjoyable overall.

Sweeter than a normal Brunello, but may be just young for this label

Definitely much better after a day of opening up. Little harsh at first blush but mellows into some chewy fig and light cooked fruit flavors. Round finish and the nose a bit like green persimmons or younger unripe fruit which was really different.

Mild Sangiovese light oak with cherry. Low acid. Off dry. Damn fine
