Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

I am not generally a fan of French SB, preferring the styles of California, New Zealand, and Australia for this varietal. Yet, surprisingly, this wine won my heart. It is crisp, slightly citric yet fruity, with flavors of granny smith apples, lemons, and kiwi fruit. It stood up to both Indian and Ethiopian foods, cutting through the clarified butters used in these cuisines. This wine was so easy-drinking that the entire bottle vanished quite early into each meal.

Light and fresh, fruity notes… can’t determine the exact berry but possibly raspberry aftertaste and smell.
It took me a minute but I realized that the smell incredibly reminds me of elderflower!

Sharp apple and citrus with a dry finish which mellows in the glass.

Too sweet for me. Needs to be served very cold.

Mineral, floral, and grapefruit notes. Dry with soft acidity.

Beautifully structure and lovely aroma

Crisp with nice floral and grapefruit flavors. Not too dry; a pleasant wine similar to Viognier!

I would drink this again, nice fruit, good acid, and nice fruit rind undertones.
