Dark ruby. Initially shy but inviting nose of black cherry and leather. Full bodied palate echoes the nose adding licorice, black cranberry, and of course earth. Light on the tannins (medium minus) for a Brunello of the current release vintage, but that along with the medium acidity makes it ready to drink right now with any hearty Tuscan fare. I’m upscaling a dive diner calzone. Feel free to take it to better places from now through 2026.

Sipping Fine Wine

Deep Ruby with dark edges and aromas of ripe red fruits. On the palate flavors of black and berry fruits with currants, tobacco and hints of vanilla spice. Fine chewy grainy tannins, ok balance with acidity, medium finish ending fruit, spice and slight alcohol burn. Just ok, a bit pricey for just ok.

Deep Ruby with dark edges and aromas of ripe red fruits. The palate reveals Rich berry fruits with plum and hints of minerality and gentle touch of pepper spice. The wine is balanced with acidity and tannins, a bit grainy. The finish shows some smoke and tobacco, medium in length and ends simple but lively.

Oxidized, but even an oxidized Brunello is still delicious.

Very nice brunello for a good price point from a great vintage. Leathery body with some wildflower and elegant cooked cherry on the nose and a classic brunello finish.

Brickish color, good structure. Not too complex in flavor

Preferred the 2013, but enjoyable. (Still on covid quarantine by the way)

Bold yet mellow, pairs easy with dinner but good enough to stand alone.
