For some reason @Delectable Wine can't get this one right - it's a Sauvignon blanc, and Israel's best. A tantalizingly mix of barely tropical summer fruit with crisp minerality derived from this site's limestone. Poised and articulate on the palate too, with spot-on acidity and the faintest touch of oak. It can age a bit, but so good right now!

This is now my favorite Israeli wine. It’s a better Bordeaux blend than Domaine du Castel. Rich earthy notes, strong cranberry and plum flavors, leather and tar in the finish. A kosher wine that can take its place among non-kosher wines.

An elegant blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from the Jusean Hills Region in Israel. Ive had younger vintages of this wine, and age definitely elevated it. Mellow black fruit, some olive and Mediterranean herbs.

Bright Ruby. Red fruit, spice and pepper on the nose. Fairly tannic on the palate, with red fruit and vanilla. Long finish. A little less approachable than the Judean Hills, and will require a little more time.
