2010 vintage. Very fresh and youthful. Raspberry, red plum, dried cherry, dried cranberry, tea leaves, stale tobacco, autumn leaves, dried violets, tree bark, wet straw. Good complexity, still fresh, lengthy finish.

Nov 4th, 20172010 vintage. Stewed red plums, fresh cranberry, tart cherry, rotting autumn leaves, freshly-turned soil, subtle barnyard, little bit of resiny/herbal hashish thing going on, red flowers, tea leaves. Wine had very good complexity, but lacks a bit of the concentration that I was hoping for.

Red fruits, flowers, iron-y minerality, and earthy mushroomy notes swirl together in this delicious and complex pinot...but was there more to want? I'll check with the 2010 next...
