Les Monts Damnés Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

Not my favorite vintage but still tasty juice.

Rough Capri sun like tropical on the nose and very disjointed needs a long decant. Day 2 the citrus and minerals emerged, bury these for 4-5 years but balance seems off in this particular vintage

A lil past it’s prime in a hot year but orange blossom wax cream and mineral still apparent

Yum yum yum. Beautifully aged

Broad power with enough time open shows its cut and cool maritime quality.

Beautiful Sauvignon Blanc

Vulgar display of power. Absurd stone drenched structure with effortless delicacy, shimmering acidity, citrus pith, apple skin, sage and chamomile woven around it. Plenty of life ahead

The 16 is concentrated and delicious. Needs time but showed similar to a good Dauvissat chablis. Sea salt, lemon zest, herbs and pear and easily balances out the alcohol.

The 17 showed limestone, lemon zest, white pear. Pretty tasty now but the 16 is even better and will age. Was refreshing on a 90 degree day.
