Brilliant scarlet. Aromas of fresh dark berries, pungent flowers, cola and a hint of allspice on the perfumed nose. Juicy and expansive in the mouth, offering concentrated bitter cherry and black raspberry flavors braced by a core of zesty acidity. Picks up licorice and savory herb notes with air and finishes long and smooth, with discreet tannins sneaking in late. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, October 2020)

Though I'm not normally a fan of overly fruity Pinot Noir, this one packs a serious punch, so much so that it is the first wine I've ever described as voluptuous. Rich aromas of black cherries and red berries, followed by a berry juice and hints of allspice with an incredibly smooth combination of supple tannins and light acidity that really makes the wine dance circles in your mouth.

Fuller bodied Pinot with silky tannins and good mouthfeel. Picked up at recommendation of Tony at the grocery store in Leschi. Good value Pinot at $24.
