The nose suggests plenty of flinty, volcanic terroir with bruised tropical and stone fruits. On the palate the fruit turns tart but the flint still shines. Acid is good, falling somewhere between and albarino and a riesling.

Sour peach skins

Golden, almost light copper in the glass. Barnyard, flinty nose with a touch of grapefruit. Lemongrass and roasted endive flavors. Dry and brassy. Your mother in law will crinkle her nose and wonder where her vanilla and oak is, but you'll smile and down another oyster and a bite of goat cheese.
