Medium Ruby color with aromas of ripe red fruits and earthy forest spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and plum fruits with wafts of leather and spice. Firm tight tannins, a bit too savory on a medium finish. Bottle opened for 2 hours and did not seem to improve, ends with an off earthy character.
