This is a loud wine! Tangy, sappy red berry fruit, enough spices and herbs for a North African souk, and sandstoney gravel. Intense and very savory in the mouth. Some soft tannin and pretty good acidity for a Grenache-family wine. Great buy!

What a seductress! A sultry, island wine that is slowly revealing itself with air. Gamey and earthy nose, intense flavors of fresh red berries, more game and mud on the long finish. Wishing I bought more. A steal for the price.

Jun 7th, 2018Rather interesting wine. Spicy and earthy with a strong face on it. It eventually opens up but doesn't give in much. Slight hint of sweetness - berries but all in all - a wine with character. Pairs well with ricotta salad. 2014 Vintage.
