This was a great light rose with some fresh crispy tones, some bitterness (in a good way) with lingonberry notes with a middle long aftertaste. Great on its own now during the summer or with lighter food on a pic nic. We had it with a vegetable pasta. No hit of sweetness which i found nice

I'm thinking pink this May, though sadly the Château de Berne Grande Récolte 2013 failed to impress. Opens with notes of canned fruit cocktail, pomelo, and granulated honey. Slightly thin on the palate, slightly metallic, it just peters out like an awkward conversation, which is a pity, considering the price point.

Pretty typical southern French rosé. Mid-weight, starts to get a bit honeyed but decent acidity cutting in. Very nice refreshing afternoon wine. Not overly complex but good.
