Clos de Verger Pommard 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Been 5 years! What a wine. Sickness. Floral. Confectionary cherries. Spice. So complex and expressive. Smells like a hint of spun sugar. The carnival is coming to Pommard! Palate is so silky and velvety with superb finesse and elegance. Terrific bright cherry fruit. Deep, ethereal and complex. Spherical. So long. This is elite!

Gorgeous nose of complex berry fruit, earth, rocks, licorice, spice. Really expressive and complex out of the gates. Complex, structured and juicy palate. Such complexity and finesse. So fresh. I so love these wines. Amazing purity. This should not be drunk this young but I am still amazed at the material despite its closed state.

Trying to expand my Pinot game. Nice red fruit but not overdone. Very light but not thin. Not familiar with this producer but the finish was a little dry.

This domaine is fantastic. They are premiere producers. Specifically this one: is very dry, take everything you may have on your teeth. A fair amount of tannins, it probably would tame down with time. Get some leather taste, long finish with a nice peppery nose.
