Balvenie Triple Cask 12 year. Nose is much more like a bourbon. Very sweet, with fruit, honey, vanilla., thick caramel. Peat really shows up in taste, with fruit and vanilla, followed by a long sherry finish. This is fantastic, but a bit too harsh. I'd love to try a longer aged version.

This was one of the last bottles produced. An exceptionally great tasting scotch to enjoy with exceptionally great friends.
