Fantastic wine made from mencia and two native Galician grapes, bastardo and caíño. There is a lightness reminiscent of a Pinot noir--focused and beautiful. Dark, medium-intensity color with cherry, spice, and rose petal on the nose. Palate is beautiful with moderately bright acidity, medium body, plenty of fruit and spice, something subtly earthy, and a really delicious long finish. Excellent wine.
