Fine tuned. Candied red fruits with medium acid, ripe tannin, plus savory, earthy goodness. Evolved nicely and drank easily for 14.5% alc.

Stewed red fruits and a hint of plastic band aid. A bit hot. I've had better.

The first wine I ever "collected." Opened while watching Boyhood... bought in 2002, the year they started filming. Old world style with leather, tobacco, garrigue, dried flowers, dried cherries, earth and spice. Finishes long, with balanced acidity and subtle tannins.

Rich red berry fruit, 15% alcohol level which is quite high , soft well integrated tannin paired well with a mushroom and asparagus risotto.

Really delicious for just sipping, with cheese, and with pizza

Beautiful wine, full of flavours, fills the palet with impressions. Very well rounded and is perfect with some heavy autum /winter food.
A real favourite, I will have this again.
