Here is a wine from a great vintage that is bred to go the distance. Good fruit with aggressive tanins and acidity lead me to think that it needs at least another 5 years

Not much nose in spite of the Riedel glasses. Maybe should have left it another 12 years? Or maybe it is simply too cold to show well. ABV 14%
