"Sottu Scala" is Sebastien's most serious wine. It's 100% Sciaccarellu planted on a granite & schist terroir that is picked later than Damianu & Antica to push phenolic maturity even further.

2103. Raspberries and strawberry red fruit.. smoky. Lots of stuffing and great balance for a wine from this part of the world. Medium body and silky tannins. Technically VERY impressive but not it is a bit tiring. Gets chunkier with air. Still good mineral content. Not bad at all. But it doesn't feel at all like it has the pedigree and potential to warrant the 45 euro price. Still- continues to develop rather than shut down with air. Definitely feels italian more than French.

2008 old vines of Sciaccarellu, the best Corsican grape.... Just smooth, earthy, cherry notes. A bit animal ... Love it

Tout ce que j'aime dans un vin. C'est bien balancé avec juste ce qu'il faut de concentration et le côté noble de l'élevage en barrique.

100% Sciaccarellu, a grape that underperforms in Italy, shows impressively in Corsica, and who’s primary characteristic is apparently to make wine nerds scratch their heads. Fresh black plumb, lavender, English breakfast tea. Also showing notes of alpine strawberry, red berries, blood orange Medium bodied, and light on its feet; refreshing but only medium acidity; with the complexity coming from nuances of fresh fruit flavors. Not Transcendent, but infinitely drinkable, unique, and tasty
