A 100% old Carignan from Calce in Roussillon for lunch - natural profile, low SO2, floral and fresh with some light wild notes

Bright fruit and acid. A bit too "juicy", but a fun snackable wine.

Tasty quaffable carignan with a solid tannic foundation.

Blackberries, blueberry compote, lavender, white pepper, garrigue, iron. Rounded acidity, minimal narrow velvet tannin presence, medium bodied, juicy-silky texture, fruity-smoky finish. Highly aromatic, funky and dark.
