Decent £35 St Estephe drinking ok young but will reward 3-4yrs waiting 👍 I preferred the 2012 w/ a dash of Cab Franc 😉

🍇 50% Cab S, 46% Mer & 4% Pet V

🍷 Dark ruby

👃 Smokey mineral oak through sweet dark plum driven fruit w/ earthy mocha & red berry undertone

👄 Med blackcurrant driven body w/ fine drying tannins & hints of red berry & earthy mocha

🎯 Short-Med dry dark fruit finish

🧀 Better with Roquefort cheese 😎

I'm in love with this beauty- leather, a touch of bandaid, savory beef bouillon, deep black plum, cherry cordial, and dark chocolate. I loved that there were still a decent amount of tannins and fruit. Absolutely stole the show during dinner... food, what food? Pour me more wine! 🍷

Really enjoyed this left bank Bordeaux. Light and smooth. The nose had hints of oak and deep red fruit. Not too heavy tannins. Upon first sip, it was light with majority of flavor being plum. After a while, the oakiness stood out and it was very nice. Sediment present.

Super Fine Bordeaux, no need to decant. Amazing match with pasta or duck.
