Finicky wine. Needs some air to get going, but the tannins have largely resolved, so drinks a bit delicate. That said, the palate is beautifully finessed red berries with enough fresh acid intact to give it a lift. The nose is classic Nebbiolo flowers and light red fruit. Very pretty. Ready to enjoy right now.

Lots of leather, velvety tannins, mellow acidity but still bright, belies its age. Dried roses and tobacco, ripe red fruit. From Flatiron Wines.
UPDATE: Had again Oct. 2018, decanted for 6 hours, even better.

delicious. nice brick color. brighter and more fresh fruit than you’d expect. some good funkiness as well. from flatiron. buy again please. update: had it again oct 2018 and raised rating to 9.2. decanted for 6hrs.
