Frauengärten Grüner Veltliner

Wish I'd caught this about a year ago. Round and blowzy aromatically and structurally alive on the palate, but muted overall. Still enjoyable, just on its way out.

Clean, crisp, precise.

Not terribly expressive. Golden apple, lime oil, fennel frond.

Pungent, forceful, blunt and fresh.

Pure essence of GV. Fresh, intensive with floral and fruits aromas. A bit of minerality and papper.

A terrific wine that will pair well with a variety of dishes.
