Drank 10/28/22.

Nose is very nice, but not overpowering, with plum, blackberry, cocoa, and just a hint of oak. Smooth black fruits on the palate, with medium, well integrated tannins, and just a hint of pepper.

3/22/8/4/4 + 50 = 91 pts.

A very classically styled Bordeaux and a good value at $30. I've heard the 2019 is also very good, but a bit more fruit forward. If anyone has tried both what is your preference?.

Needed an hour or so to open. I probably will hold off on the rest of these for a few more years.

This is a nice Red Bordeaux. Showing black and red fruits with wood, light vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso and earth.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with nice length on the finish, firm tannins and tangy cranberries.

Still young and needs another 5 years to mature properly.

14% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$30.

A great Bordeaux wine that blends tobacco, earth and cassis aromatics with a spicy, cassis and blackberry character. Licorice, thyme, earth, ripe black cherries and espresso notes in the nose. Full bodied, long finish.

Very meaty and lean, with some big tannin initially and throughout. Excellent value - black plum, grilled meat, leather, peppercorn, gravel mineral, Red currant. Definitely needed a full flavored steak or lamb chop in my mind, and still needs a few more years but none the less, a great wine.
