More focused than the 2009. This has a mineral and yellow apple skin nose that carries to the palate with Meyer lemon, ginger, and chalk.

Intense and not traditional, but still very interesting and true to showing the range of Chenin.

Hands down the best Savienneres I've had, this was lemony, apple-y, but most important: this tasted like rocky, chalky, mineral dust. As it opened up it revealed this incredible and rich caramel character. At l'Arpege for lunch, this was the highlight of the whole meal!
