Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Each wine in the series is named for a horse born to Maggy Hawk: Jolie, Afleet, Stormin’ and Unforgettable, and to her sire, Hawkster. Deep dark Ruby with aromas of red fruits, sweet spice and herbs. Palate shows complex flavors of black cherry and blackberry with vanilla, cacao and tobacco notes. Full-bodied and well balanced. Long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy notes. Very Nice!!

A more elegant style of Pinot noir and this is the newest project from Barbara banke she believed in the Anderson valley so she started buying up vineyards in this valley to do a new Pinot noir project. 2007 was the first vintage and Maggie hawk was one of the Jackson's horses. Only 250 cases of this wine was produced this year no 2008 was produced due to the fires. A very pretty nose of baking spices black raspberry and this is clone 2a a very small cluster so very concentrated. A very smooth and silky texture with an array of spice and partial whole cluster Elizabeth grant Douglas is the winemaker here same as la Crema. A big Pinot noir and quite savory. Finish 45+ most excellent
