Garnet in color. On the nose lime, limestone, tar, baking spice, pepper, and a little cherry. Juicy cherry, with a touch of cranberries and black pepper; some slate with chalky tannins on the palate. Decent acid but not extended. You wish the finish had a bit more authority. Not complex, but also not super fruity. Does that mean it's balanced? For sure it could be more interesting.

Great clear crimson, lovely ref fruits of fresh cherry and raspberry. Good balance, spice is in check and it's got very good balance. Happy.
