La Fage Cahors Malbec

A cahors producer to watch out for!

Light tannins, floral, fruity

Yummy Malbec from France. Tried it at Mulberry.

Earthy black cherry and blackberry. Dry tobacco leaves. Perfect medium body.

2011. Iron, dried blood, leather funk. Pretty, delicate for Cahors, nice mouthfeel. Good, solid Malbec.

La Fage 2010

Silky tannins for this 100% Malbec from Cahors. Good acidity and long finish complete the profile, but taste is not elegant as the nose may suggest.

Loved loved.

I guess this is a Malbec? Just says “red cahors wine” on the back. Anyhoo, it’s delicious. Slightly fruity but with a good tobacco balance. Yum! From Sepulveda’s wine bar.
