Back for a new vintage to mourn the last day of summer and celebrate the start of fall (or should that be the other way around?) Salmon pink with an orange tinge, excellent clarity. Cherry flower and lemon in nose, cherry, rose petal and lemon-grapefruit rind in mouth. (Others taste watermelon rind; I wouldn’t disagree). Orange with length in finish. Slightly tart and slightly bitter with minerality, some spritz and skin astringency as well. 69/15/9/7 blend of Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache and Mourvedre. Not as good as the 2015 (if my memory is reliable) but still great value

Dark pink in color. Strawberry, floral and maybe citrus notes in nose. Berry, cherry and a hint of lemon and melon in mouth, medium to coarse skin astringency on palate in the finish. Crisp, dry to off-dry. Four red varietals in blend, but mostly Syrah (80%) Pleasant enough, great value

Strawberry & Cherry aromas, nice balance between fruit & acidity, paired well with Posole.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Still hitting all the happy places a year after its release.

Charming, balanced, could be a bit more acidic to balance what borders on sweet but all the lovely fruits are in play--sweet and sour cherries, strawberries, and some petrol-ish wet stones too so...there is that. Still something wants for this. But for 9 bucks via Garagiste? Sure. I want to taste more Renegade. Consider curiousity sparked.

A conundrum of varietals make up this bright and inviting rosé.
The nose is a warm expression of citrus fruits.
The palette is defined by a burst of freshness, along with citrus zest and racy acidity. Excellent texture and density which finished a touch sweet. 11.6% abv becomes a perfect complement to what is a fun wine to drink.
And I forgot, this comes in well south of $15 per with a stelvin-type enclosure.

amazing Rhone rosè from @garagiste_wine for $10!Would be a great one at 2x the price. Gorgeous watermelon flesh color, nose of fresh cherries, tomato Vine, strawberry. Great balance of acid and fruit with lingering finish, would pair well with a wide array of summer fare. Blend of 50% Syrah, 21% Cinsault, 18% Grenache , 6 Counoise, 5% Mourvedre. Sad I bought only 1.
