2015 Vintage definitely riper style - black fruit , pomegranate , earth , undergrowth, , medium minus body medium acidity , still lots of life left

A bit hiding in plain sight. Have seen this 96'er more open recently. Made out of Pinot Noir clones from the Clos de Tart Grand Cru vineyard.

Comme d'habitude, bien fait ! Il ne lui manque que quelques années de vieillissement :P

Took an hour to open that was tightly wound. When opened showing tart cherry with good spice. Still needs more time in the cellar.

Black cherry, spice, sous bois, bold. Would guess lots of whole cluster.

13%. The days of finding Burgundy on the cheap are very much over. Heck even simples Bourgogne are now selling for 50$. Yes you can search for bottles from the cheaper villages like Givry. And this is a good example but the wine lacks depth. It will never be a Gevrey or NSG just too lean for me. Cherry notes yes - but it lacks the earthiness and extra dimension I am looking for and will never be special. A good everyday Pinot but for 45$ to expensive. Will try the wine tomorrow again. Just to be sure.
