Lots of rich, juicy dark fruit that you expect from cabernet sauvignon, the softness of a merlot mixed in well. It washed down our beef stew quite well, as the flavors came on strong and beautiful. But they also faded quickly from memory. It felt like this wine could have come from anyplace in the world. But maybe I’m just being too hard on old Walker Bay. #laterwine
