Jongieux Mondeuse

Fresh mountain herbs, melon, a little moon rain. Perfect for scampi al fresco!

Fairly tight, thin, a lot of greenness and cranberries. Decent aromatics, some blue fruit character. Mondeuse can do much better, but it seems hard to find the good ones. This one is average.

Grandparent of syrah. No oak used. Blue and black fresh fruit. Some blackberry cobbler. Medium bodied, a hint of refined tannin.

First time with mondeuse reminiscent of Cannonau or funky Grenache. Tasty wine with fruit up front with minerality on the finish.

Perfect pink on a hot evening.

Quaffer

Fresh and crispy.. hits of Melon and green apples..!

Orange peel. Massive minerality

Lots of cherry notes, medium bodied and very dry! A hearty red. Very smooth!

Honeysuckle and lilac, not sweet but light and spring flowers.
