Stevige rode wijn. Volle geur, trapje hoger dan La Tota - Barbera D'Asti en duidelijk op vat gelegen. Kruidige tint en geconcentreerde smaak (Superiore) maar niet kras zoals de Toscaanse rode wijnen. Zacht gevoel in de mond.

Excellent Barbera from Alfieri. Just in its prime but would have lasted at least another 5 years. Bought a few cases at the beautiful Alfieri castle in San Martino, near Asti. Well worth a visit.
