This Conn Creek Cabernet Franc has a lovely deep color almost black, nose is a nice blend of green pepper, red currant, cherries, smoked oak, and hint of dark chocolate, medium to full body with dry tannins and pleasant finish. Needs a bit more time to rest, my score 87, drink 2017-2021 perhaps longer.

Blackberry, raspberry, currant, vanilla, spice and oak. Good structure and well-integrated tannins.

Conn Creek does it again. Some of the best wine for the price in Napa. A "fine wine"? No. Is the wine, well, fine? Yes! It's better than just fine. Classic Cab Franc nose: notes of pencil shavings, bright red fruit, medium bodied, but as the air and wine learn to accept each other, the final 2 glasses outshine almost any Napa Bordeaux variety in its price point.

A bit overpowering with anise, tobacco overlaying the dark fruit at first but it did mellow after awhile. Finish is smooth with well balanced mild acidic tones at the end

Restrained Napa. Enough oak to make it obviously Cali, but enough acidity to make it delicious.

Needs to breathe a bit, but does have a more bold finish for cab/franc

Good can franc. Not as smooth as I was hoping for but not bad. Definitely way better after it opened up for an hour!
