If you think southern France doesn't have good white (I did), taste this. Quince, mirabelle (yellow/white plum) and honey with great acidity and citrus fruits. Burgundy meets southern France

Awesome white. Tasted blind thought Jura then Rioja. Ripe fruit, bit of va, lots of yeast character. Mouthful filling but fresh.

The year 2003 was terribly dry and hot also in the Roussillon. Calce, however, is a windy place and Gérard Gauby a biodynamic sorcerer. The wine is still fascinating after more than 10 years: herbs on the nose, salt on the palate, a firm, well balanced structure and only 12.5 ABV. Cheers!

Complex white and not for the faint of heart. Slight oxidation, muted floral aromas with subtle notes of almonds, beeswax, vermouth and green olive. This is a vehicle to enhance food.
