Should change the name to "Lackluster". No complexity.

Pretty complex on the nose with cinnamon, cherries, vanilla, cracked black pepper, and more spice. The palate is a bit too angular though, needing food to wake it up, but even then it was just blah for me.

More from blind Italian night. This was eh. Very one dimensional. Floral nose. Plums and cherry on the palate. But nothing great.

Still a deep crimson color but with clear edged. Complex nose of cherry and blackberry with a slight hint balsamic and minerality. The mouth is deep blackberry and raspberry with some lingering tannins and a stoney finish. Shale maybe. Lingers on the palate for a good 45 seconds or so.

All raspberry and vanilla. Not complex, still fun flavors.

Balanced. That’s the word to describe this one. Not too dry. Not too fruity. Not too tannic. Not too acidic. Oak was really well-done (I don’t like oaky wines). I thought this was great for sipping, and would probably be even better with food. I’ll buy again.
