Glides to a finish featuring polished tannins and a kick of crushed rock minerality. 31 € on the list and worth every penny.

This really surprised me. It wasn’t tired in any way and has a good long life ahead. The fruit and earthy flavours were balanced and nicely integrated, without a loss of much acidity. If this is a good example of the legendary 2005 vintage 16 years on, then we are all in for a treat over the next 5-10 years or so.
