2009. Took awhile to open up. Delicate nose. A little barnyard, loads of gravelly minerals, sappy slightly sour cherry ooze. Bone dry, lean, and extraordinarily minerally. Like it sucked the juice right out of the rocks. Needs food, and showed really well with grilled steaks and grilled veggies.

2011 on 22 Jan 2018. Much better than 2011. Bright, near effervescent; slight acid in finish. Opens (decanted and warmed) to barnyard funk. Near orange meniscus. From Schneider’s.
