True to site and vintage, ‘08 raciness is rounded by the southern exposition of Valmur. Very earth driven Chablis; wet mushroom, damp soil, chalk. A slightly more oxidative style of winemaking captures that more opulent yellow fruit well, adds more breadth to the palate. 80 year old vines I’m told.

She sells sea shells by the sea shore! Just screaming of the ocean - chalky sea shells, explosive deep lemon, smoke and flint. Amazing how different from bogota with its seemingly unlikely exotic fruits. This is in all the dimensions of Cote de lechet, just more of everything. Took a minute to reveal itself, but def the real deal.
