Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Nose of cherries, plums, currants, oak, light vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, earth, wet rocks, barnyard, tobacco, vegetables, black pepper and spices.

Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, currants, bitter herbs, green pepper, light vanilla, tobacco, black pepper, spices, forest floor, tobacco and herbs.

Short finish with fine grained tannins and black pepper.

This red Bordeaux is simple and not fully balanced, with a watery mouthfeel. A nice everyday red wine. Nothing special here but not offensive either.

A year in the bottle might help to balance it out. Needs an hour to open up properly and show some tannins.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Sweet notes and fruity for a Bordeaux, I like the intensity, but could use some chill before serving(.)

A perfect example of great value Bordeaux. The 2012 is drinking well now

Medium ruby color; cherries and earthiness on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like cranberries, wet gravel, and dried herbs with a long finish. A decent quality, but not my favorite Bordeaux.
